Art practical
The Art Practical Group meets from 10am to around 12.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Hungerford Hub (the Library building). We are a self help group who are all keen on producing work but we have no structured tuition. New members always welcome.
A small per head charge is levied at each attendance to cover the room hire costs (and for tea/coffee/biscuits)
Most attending work in water colour but all mediums are equally welcome. You need to bring all your own art materials. A "still life subject" is usually displayed for those wishing to tackle it. We are a self-help group so there is no structured tuition.
A new “Collage Painting” project is planned, following our first collage, "The Swing Bridge near St Lawrence Church”, which is still displayed at The Hub.
In summer months we may choose to meet for an outdoor painting challenge and some pub grub!
