MEDIUM WALK: 17 Oct 2024 Start: 10:15 Distance: 4.25 miles

(near The Blackbird pub which is now closed)
This is a circular walk from the village of Bagnor taking us through woodland and paths in Snelsmore Common and around the ruins of the medieval 14th century Donnington Castle. There are no stiles but there are a few inclines and one descent. Could be muddy. Walking poles recommended.
Optional coffee or lunch at The Hartley Arms, Donnington Village RG14 2JP. Please let me know beforehand if you are staying for lunch as we have to pre order.

Meet at St Michaels church Little Bedwyn SN8 3JQ
Parking is very limited near the church so car share if possible
Gentle inclines walking poles are advised as this could be muddy across the fields and slippery on one of the paths
